You may have already noticed that the name and the look of our workshop series has changed. Our Seminars in Usable Design (SUD) series was begun in 1992 as a partnership with JoAnn Hackos, William Horton, Jonathon Price, and Henry Korman, all of whom had their own public workshop series. As times have changed, each of us has gone our own way until only JoAnn and Henry are left doing public workshops. Bill Hackos and Tina Hedlund have been added to the schedule. All of us who remain doing public workshops are now associated with Comtech. JoAnn, Bill, and Tina are direct employees, and Henry works as a consultant.
We’ve decided it would be more convenient to bring the workshop series back under the Comtech umbrella. Since all of the workshops are designed with JoAnn’s input, we have chosen to call it the “JoAnn Hackos Workshop Series.”
We want to assure you that the workshops are of the same content, quality, and price that they were under SUD. The same instructors are conducting the same workshops as they did under SUD. Nothing has changed except the name.
With the improved economy, we are able to offer a greater selection of workshops, and look forward to your continued support.
