CIDM will give this award for the first time to a manager who offers a presentation or poster session at the CIDM Best Practices Conference, Chatham Bars Inn, Cape Cod, October 18–20, 2004.
The Rare Bird Award recognizes outstanding managers and/or team practices that make organizations more efficient and effective on behalf of their companies and customers.
- Award judging criteria include efficiency, customer focus, innovation, transferability, transformational value, and/or leadership.
- The five independent judges will be selected from industry, academia, and CIDM center associates.
