Tina Hedlund leaving Comtech

We are sorry to announce that Tina Hedlund is leaving Comtech. Tina recently joined our consulting team and has been giving presentations and administering workshops. After working with Comtech for almost eight years, she has decided to make a career change and will remain in Denver.

Staff Changes at Comtech

We've brought in a number of people to our team this spring; another has gone on maternity leave.

Lisa Lambert, our administrative assistant, has gone on maternity leave by the order of her doctor. Her baby has not come yet, but is expected around the beginning of July. Lisa will rejoin our team in the fall.

We are pleased to report that Mark Baker and Analecta Communications have joined our consulting team. Mark is the principal of Analecta. He was formerly the Director of Communications for OmniMark Technologies and Manager of Information Engineering Methods at Nortel. Many of you may have seen Mark presenting at our conferences or have read his articles in the Best Practices newsletter. Mark will work from his base in Ottawa, Ontario.

Another consultant, Martha Williamson, has also joined our consulting team. We first worked with Marty when she was Head of Documentation at Alcatel Telecom in France. She has recently moved back to the United States where she is consulting in the Washington, DC, area. She works from her base in Culpepper, Virginia.

Two new members have joined the Comtech team at our Denver Office. Catherine Carvajal graduated in May from the University of Colorado with a degree in Communications. Catherine will be doing many of the functions that were done by Lisa Lambert before she left for maternity leave. Catherine will be here full time and will stay with us after Lisa returns.

Lisa Finger has a degree in Criminal Justice from the University of North Dakota. She has just graduated from the University of Denver with her Masters degree in International Administration. She'll be administering our CIDM activities. Remember, we now have two Lisa's here!

We look forward to introducing our new staff to you at the upcoming Best Practices conference or when you next visit our office.
