Conferences
The Center for Information-Development Management offers three conferences a year: Content Management Strategies/DITA North America conference, Best Practices Conference, and DITA Europe.

Innovation Council
Palmer Pearson, a member of the CIDM Advisory Council, provided the inspiration for the Innovation Council. Nearly a year ago, Palmer began an Innovation Council in the north Boston area, with 12 managers participating.

Rare Bird Award
The Rare Bird award was established in 2004 and is given for distinguished contributions to best practices in the management of information development. The award is made to the manager or team who submits their best practice for consideration by the judges prior to the annual CIDM Best Practices Conference.

Workshops
Today's continuing changes in technology and information delivery make learning an integral part of technical communication. To help you meet these challenges, Comtech offers both Brown Bag (public workshops) and in-house workshops, led by our consultants who not only attend and present at many professional conferences, but who also design and develop information delivery systems on a day-to-day basis.
