Best Practices newsletter. This bimonthly newsletter provides the latest news in the information-development industry and reports on CIDM studies and member actions. The newsletter features articles about benchmarking activities and best practices, a calendar of coming events throughout the industry, book reviews, tool reviews, and more. For a sample copy of the newsletter, view one of our past issues.

Free conference registrations. All CIDM Regular Department members receive two complimentary registrations to the annual Best Practices conference, dedicated to management principles and strategies. Members also receive discounted rates to all annual conferences.

Members listserv. Use the CIDM members listserv to query colleagues for their best practices and ideas for resolving dilemmas in your organization.

Members website. The Members website archives the Best Practices newsletter issues and articles, including a search tool for articles in Best Practices and the Information Management e-newsletter, provides links to CIDM webinars that are reserved only for members, lists vendor and departmental member organizations and provides contact information for the primary liaisons in these organizations. The Members website will soon include a question and answer forum on collaboration and other pressing issues. You can post your pressing questions and receive valuable advice from other CIDM members.
