Innovation Council

Palmer Pearson, a member of the CIDM Advisory Council, provided the inspiration for the Innovation Council. Nearly a year ago, Palmer began an Innovation Council in the north Boston area, with 12 managers participating.

IPMM

The IPMM contains an evaluation tool used in documentation departments worldwide to rate their maturity in each of the key areas. In an IPMM audit, CIDM makes recommendations on actions companies can take to improve their maturity rating. Some of the more recent organizations benefiting from an assessment include Engenio Information Technologies, Jeppesen, Juniper Networks, The Raymond Corporation, and SWIFT.

Rare Bird Award

The Rare Bird award was established in 2004 and is given for distinguished contributions to best practices in the management of information development. The award is made to the manager or team who submits their best practice for consideration by the judges prior to the annual CIDM Best Practices Conference.
