The CIDM would like to welcome two new people to the CIDM Associates. Julie Bradbury who recently retired from Cadence Design Systems where she led their Knowledge Transfer Organization for eight years. And Mark Baker, principal of Analecta Communications, and former Director of Communications for OmniMark Technologies and Manager of Information Engineering Methods at Nortel.
We are pleased to announce two new members and two returning members to the CIDM Community in 2004. Roi-Ann Bettez and Patty Cobb rejoined for Lexmark and Mike Eleder rejoined for Motorola after a two-year hiatus due to budget constraints. We are pleased that they value the community so much that they want to continue participating and adding their own value. Scott Wahl and Mark Sangster from Research in Motion, developers of the Blackberry, and Ben Jackson from Cisco have been added to the roles as brand new members.
We are also pleased to announce that Trisoft is joining the CIDM Community as a vendor member. Trisoft InfoShare is an ETC (Enterprise Technical Communication) system that allows management of single sourced document components and reuse of the documents in multiple publications.
We invite all of you to consider membership now to this stimulating and supportive community of experienced publications and training managers. We’re already planning for the 2004 Best Practices conference and want to hear from you about the issues of the day. Without your support, we cannot be successful.
Please call JoAnn Hackos directly about CIDM membership for your organization.
