Taj Whitesell, CIDM

We are looking for contributions to CIDM’s bi-monthly Best Practices print newsletter. In Best Practices we highlight the latest practices and innovations in the information-development profession. We feature articles of interest to the information development professional, including features from CIDM members, Comtech professionals, and other professionals, as well as book reviews, abstracts from other journals, tool reviews, and a calendar of events.

We are currently looking for articles for a DITA-centered issue we plan to publish in April. We are also happy to consider articles on other subjects of interest to information developers for this or future issues of Best Practices. In this issue of theInformation Management e-newsletter, we have reprinted an article written by CIDM Director, JoAnn Hackos, from the December 2005 issue of Best Practices.  This will give you an idea of the kind of articles we are looking for.  Article length is usually around 2,000 words. The Best Practices newsletter is a great way to have your name and your work read by hundreds of industry professionals. If you have an idea for an article either on DITA, or another topic you think would be of interest to our readers, or if you would like to receive a complimentary back issue of Best Practices, please contact Taj Whitesell (303-232-7586) or email your submission to taj.whitesell@comtech-serv.com.

Having a subscription to our newsletter guarantees you access to the latest news and innovations in information development.  Our print newsletter contains high quality contributions from leaders in the profession and is great way to stay up to date on all the latest developments in the field.  To find out more about subscribing to the Best Practices newsletter, please visit our subscription page:http://www.infomanagementcenter.com/newsletter.htm
