The Master of Language Administration (MLA) is a two-year, part-time Master’s program offered by the Copenhagen Business School. MLA is designed for professionals and managers with a background in languages and communication. The program is organized as web-based distance learning.

In the MLA program, you will get acquainted with the newest knowledge and learn “best practices” in company digital document production, information resources, and linguistic communication. You learn to evaluate the use of language-technology methods and tools. Emphasis is put on the development of analytic skills and capabilities for project management. You learn how to analyze, plan, and manage activities relating to the production and use of the company documents and Internet content. The goal is for not only the company’s language staff, but also everyone who produces and uses the content, to experience improvements in the generation process and quality.

Teaching, which is based on the newest research and knowledge, is supported by international experience with techniques and methods. International authorities within the field are affiliated with the program and emphasis is put on networking and sharing experiences, including those of students in the program. By joining the program, you will also have the opportunity to work with organizational and management issues and develop your individual personal competences. You will get new inspiration, acquire new knowledge and push your career in the right direction.

In 2002, the MLA program received the “Excellence in Education Award for Innovation in Continuing Education” from the American Electronic Document Systems Foundation.

As of 2006, the MLA program is offered as an international Master’s in English. It is also possible to apply as a single-subject student throughout the year.
